Be Dino-Smitten this summer at The Meadows
Get ready to be dino-smitten as we bring you roar-some summer fun at The Meadows!
Join us on Saturday 1st August for a meet and greet with Trevor the T-Rex and his friend Spike the Spinosaurus, plus keep your eyes peeled for our smaller dino stars, Sarah the Stigmoloch and Terry the Triceratops. They love to meet ‘kids’ of all ages. Our palaeontologists will be on hand to share fun facts about the dinos and there’ll be a themed dino setting to enjoy. Shows will be on the hour for 20 minutes from 10am to 4pm*.
Saturday 15th August is your turn to go dino crazy as we bring you dino crafts – the chance to show off your creative skills - and a fun dino dig, where you can search for treasure such as fossils and dinosaur bones. Simply grab your brush, dig gently, and compare your discoveries with friends and family as you become a budding palaeontologist. You’ll find us on the main mall between 10am and 4pm.
It’s fun face painting time on 8th and 22nd August, so stomp on down to The Meadows and enjoy dino days, your opportunity to get into character. Feel free to come dressed to match! Fearsome face painting take place from 10am to 4pm.
Don’t forget a pit stop at one of our on-site cafes/restaurants and head to the shops for summer essentials.
